ТРЪСТИКА THATCH   

The Thatch is an eco-friendly material, equipped with natural beauty and maximum life span. It’s manufactured from thin cane straws, available in South Africa.

The thatch, much like all the other species of dry vegetation, constitutes the main material, used for an ancient construction method of sheds, canopies and even walls. This method has been used since the Middle Ages, in both tropical and temperate climates.

Although thatch is considered to be a flammable material, is in fact a slow combustion material and it can even be used as a fire-retardant.

In order to manufacture the thatch canopy, the thatch canes are welded on one side with some kind of a natural rubber, forming parallelogram tiles.

Those tiles are equipped with rubber clips, which allow their easy adjustment on umbrellas and all kinds of shading structures, creating a stairway effect.

Тръстиката THATCH, е екологичен материал, с естествена красота и продължителен живот. Изработва се от тънки тръстики, които виреят в Южна Африка. THATCH, както и всички видове суха растителност, е основният материал на един древен начин за изграждане на покриви, дори на стени, който се използва както в тропическите, така и в районите с умерен климат, още от Средновековието. Противно на впечатлението, което създава, thatch не е лесно запалим: гори бавно както една затворена книга, и дори може да се използва като забавител на горенето. За покриване на чадъри и беседки, тънките тръстики се слепват от едната страна с гъвкав, естествен каучук, образувайки паралелограмни плочки. По дължина на тази гъвкава лента се поставят каучукови скоби,които позволяват поставянето на плочките, върху всякакъв метален скелет, или конструкция – чадъри, беседки, навеси и др. Поставянето на плочките върху чадър, образуват различни нива, създавайки усещането за мащабност.
